SkyPoint: Deck, Climb or Both
Three SkyPoint tickets compared on height, time and rules.

For the height itself, the guided SkyPoint Climb goes outside the building to about 270 metres and includes deck entry, from US$64. Neither ticket can be refunded, so buy once your day is set.

Deck or climb?
Pick by how close to the edge you want to be:
Observation Deck
Level 77 by lift, open into the evening. Non-refundable.
Check dates →SkyPoint Climb
A guided climb outside the tower with a photo, cap and certificate. 12 and over.
See the climb →Dreamworld & SkyPoint
The deck plus a Dreamworld day, used over two days. Non-refundable.
See this ticket →The deck suits everyone who wants the view without the harness. Come at sunset to see the city lights come on, or on a clear morning for the hinterland.
The climb has strict rules. Climbers must be 12 or over, at least 130 cm tall and under 150 kg, and it is not for anyone with vertigo or recent surgery. Phones, cameras, bags, jewellery, hats and open-toed shoes are not allowed on the climb, which is why the group photo is included. Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothes.
Dreamworld & SkyPoint suits a family that wants both a theme park day and the view; see Gold Coast theme park tickets for the other park tickets.
Practical: age rules and timing
SkyPoint is a licensed venue, so anyone under 18 must be with a full-paying responsible adult aged 25 or over for the whole visit, and there are further limits on Friday and Saturday nights after 8 pm. Because both tickets are non-refundable, check the weather before you choose a time: the view is the product. For a view of the coast from the water instead, a whale cruise or a parasailing flight gets you out over the Broadwater.
